Summer Flowers

I've been playing with my camera. The pictures were taken with the flower/nature lens attachment. The flowers are are few of the ones I have planted on the new patio in containers . Here is another Digital layout. This is a template from Lindsey Jane Designs, Template 12, with the LemonLime Background paper.

I have been playing with my fairly new digital software and my camera.
We had this family of ducks stop by and I just had to take a few pictures.
I used a crackly finish overlay and then layered the main picture on top with the edges fading out. The font around the circle is Sue Ellen Francisco.





The Peony's are in my garden in front of the house. The background paper is from Lindsey Jane Design, Sepia Pink. I used a Flourish 1 overlay and then played with the opacity and the Paola Peia Plastic Alpha's.

Memorbilia Album with Box

Here is a Memorabilia Album I made for my sister, Pam, for Christmas. It took me forever as I wanted it be just right. I use 6" x 9" manila envelopes per month. Each month was decorated using different techniques. I made a calendar each month that was attached to the back of the monthly envelope for notes of special events. The outside of the binder is made out of foam board painted with three different colors, with a picture frame and a poem on the front of the binder. The box was a boot box, the kind that the lid is attached at the back. The top is repurposed tissues paper from some flowers - it was to pretty to toss.

The idea came from the Scrap&Stamp February 2006 issue. An Advent Calendar Book was made.
