Hard drive crash
So I log onto my computer and it is running so slowly connecting to the Internet. We were having problems with our provider - their server(s) were down and our connections were really slow. So I thought that was happening again. But that is not the case. My hard drive is crashing. I'm not a computer person - my DH say I know enough to be dangerous.
This really makes me glad that DH is a Computer Geek. He has the computers automatically set to back up and update. So we are in the process of fixing it. I'm borrowing my son's laptop to check e-mail and write this post, while we are pulling programs off the backup and the old hard drive.

Valentine's Day Card

It's not the traditional Valentine Day Card. I have a heart for every year we have been together... And that's a lot of hearts.

I used one of the hearts as a template to cut out the transparency hearts. I used a red or pink permanent marker to trace around the heart and then cut outside of the line so that it would show of the finished heart transparency. The transparency hearts are stamped, embossed, and a quote glued to the back of the heart.

Some of the paper hearts are double sided paper. When I couldn’t find the paper I wanted I made my own double sided paper. These hears are stamped or have a sticker or ribbon on them.

Valentine Izzy

As I was getting food for Izzy at Pet Smart I found a clearance section that had a cat toy with a Red Boa attached to a plastic stick. I just couldn't help myself and had to get it. After taking the Boa off of the stick I wrapped it around Izzy and tucked it into her collar. She is such a good sport in these pictures.

Jewel Case Calendar

I forgot to post this earlier and just now realized I haven't posted the 8x8 calendar page either. I will have to do this one after work tonight. Hopefully I will be home at a reasonable time.
Once again the only thing used in this project that is not a left over from another project is the Black background. The black paper is cut 4 3/4" square, the pink paper is 4" square.
Recipe: Paper: Black, Luxuary Stack - pink, scraps of pink, tan and white cardstock Stamp: Close to My Heart - Doodle Alphabet Ink: pink Cricut: Fabulouts Finds Other: scrap of ribbon
