New Stamps ...

How do you keep from buying the same stamp twice? Every time I'm at Archiver's I have to check out their clearance section. I found this summer fun foam stamps and this set has 26 stamps in it.

When I got my PDA I no longer used the Daytimer storage binders so I converted them into a Craft Catalog. I created a catalog in Word to help me stay organized.

I have divided my stamps by theme and then by clear and foam.I enter into my Word document the name of the stamp, who made it and the order number.
I then stamp each stamp and place that sheet in my binder.
I do the same thing for all of my craft and sewing supplies. I have been known to take my binder with me when shopping for stamps. This way I can not only see who made the stamp but what the looks like.

Cards

I have some odd size envelopes I'm trying going to use up and in order to do that I need to make some cards to go with them. From Taylor's Cupcake Challenge I made a couple of more cards based on her sketch. The white circles are cut from the Cricut at 1 1/2" and the background circles are 2". I used the same color combination and paper as the challenge. The Studio G stamps I picked up at Michaels for $1 a while ago and ther is four stamps in a package.

May's CD Calendar

For the May's calendar I stamped the daisy in Versa Mark ink on the white background, then chalked over them. I then cut out daisy in 4 sizes and after cutting and before gluing I pulled the flower petals up. The May is stamped in black on white cardstock and embossed with clear embossing power.

I really hate it when the computer crashes. I had a link to someone who had paper flowers on a project and now can't find it, so if I got the PDF File from you let me know.

Cupcake Challenge #13....

Here is my card for Taylor's Friday challenge. The cupcake stamp is from Studio G from Michael's and the Happy Birthday is from Close to My Heart . I picked it up awhile ago. I used my Cricut to cut the 1 1/4" white circle and 1 1/2" colored circle. The pink patterned paper is from Target fresh Paint metallic.

Here is another card using the same stamp set but I used the heart stamp.

April

Here is the April Cd Jewel Case calendar page. I've just not had the time to post the pictures of them. I still need to get the scanner working from the computer crashing.

Back to a semi - normal life...

OK, I'm back from Montana/Nebraska and the rush of tax season is over, now I just have to get caught up. Not that April was not busy for me, but Mom passed away on the 15th. A mad rush of a trip to Montana and Nebraska, trying to get a message to David who is overseas, and making travel arrangements for 4 people and a dog. I will make another trip sometime this summer to help Dad. I got home tonight and dumped the projects I was working on for Mom for Mother's Day in a file. I just can't look at them right now. My projects for Marie are in there also.
