Merry Christmas and Santa Clause

Edited to add: This links are for 2009

Well I have a few minutes before I have to go to work so I thought I would post a couple of templates I've been working on. I added a black border to the pictures so you would be able to see it on my blog as I have a white background. The first one is Merry Christmas click here to get.

When you insert your picture be sure to put in between the 2009 layer and the Merry Christmas or Santa Clause layer before clipping it together.

And the second one is Santa Claus. I don't get to take pictures of my guys with Santa any more so I took one of a Christmas Ornament I had made a few years ago, like maybe 10 years. Click here for the template.

Both of the templates are made using Photoshop Elements 5.0

Dear Santa...

I can explain... I was trying to wind up a bunch of yarn for an afaghan using the Q hook and I got a little more help than I wanted. She did have a little help from my oldest son as he wrapped it around her.

Post it Note Book

I made these up for the ladies at work. When I was at the Fall Conference for EA's they had the cutest post it note books in our bags. Anyway I thought they would make a great item to put in their Christmas baskets.

I cut a cereal box down to 4 1/2" x 9 1/2" and scored at 4 1/2" and 5". The inside paper is trimmed just a tad smaller then the 4 1/2' x 9 1/2". I used both the inside and and outside papers are from the Metalic Stack. I used quilt binding for the binding and rub-ons for the initial.

Recipe: Paper: The Metalic Stack Post it Notes: Page Markers Signets, 1/2" x 3/4", 4x4" Misc: glue, ribbon, Rub-on Alphabet Script - Black from DCWV

True Meaning of Christmas Week 2

Since we won't be going to Montana for Christmas I used a picture that I took a couple of years ago at Christmas time through the Bitterroot Mountains. I sure do miss the mountains. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted the words in white or black so I made both.

Click here for the the word art in white and here in black.

December CD Calendar

The blue card stock background is cut from The Rock Star pack. I used my Cricut to cut the mitten with the Speaking of Winter cartridge. The number 3 has a nice shape of the mittens on it. The snowflakes were also cut from Speaking of Winter. I used VersaMark ink after cutting them out and then embossed in white for the small snowflakes. The snowmen are cut out of black for the base, white for the actual snowmen and orange for the noses.

Recipe: Cricut Cartridge: Speaking of Winter Ink: White, VersaMark Embossing Powder: White Misc: glue, pop up dots
