More Baby Pages

Every album needs a couple of filler pages so here it is. I cut the background out from a 12x12 piece from Nana's Nursery and then cut it in half to use on two different pages. I used a punch from mom to and punched across the green to make the decorative cut, then cut a 1 1/2" piece from Nana's Nursery, and layered on top a piece of white which was scalloped with the corner rounder punch and used decorative scissors on the other side. On top of this is a small piece of orange paper.

From Graphically speaking I cut two journaling block (Shift + Image 43). I left the title off of this one so the pictures can be of anything.

Recipe: Paper: Nana's Nursery Boy and Girl, Sunblock paper pack - green and orange, Cardstock - white
Cricut: Graphically Speaking
Misc: corner rounder punch, decorative scissors, glue

Thank You

I really like how this one turned out. I sanded the sunflower card stock, attached three brads in the top right and two in the bottom left corners. I stamped the daisy on Colonial White in Hollyhock and cut out, stamped a garden green center and used pop up dots behind the flower. The stem is stamped in garden green and the leaves are over stamped to fill them in. I used hollyhock for the Thank You and stamped it directly on the card. I tied a knot in a 3" piece of grosgrain ribbon and glued it on top of the stem of the flower.

This is another from the From the Me to You stamp set.

Bath Time

I've used the purple plaid from the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper pack along with a blank page for a two page layout. I used this background for both the baby girl and the baby boy page.

I used the same size for the photo mats for the "Standing Up" pages. The "bath" is from Li'l Davis Designs Little One Chipboard Alphabet. The "time" is stickers from the Sunblock paper pack.

The monkeys are cut from the Me & My Big Ideas and the Sunburn paper packs with wigglie eyes. I used the fiskars scallop template for the white scallop accent.

Recipe: Paper: Nana's Nursery Baby Girl, Sunburn paper pack, Me&My Big Ideas, Cardstock - purple, white, black,
Cricut: New Arrival - Monkey 3", 2 1/2" and 2"
Misc: Fiskars scallop template, wigglie eyes, Li'l Davis Design Chipboard Alphabet, Sunburn Sticker Alphabet, glue

Baby Album Bookmark

The background papers are just slightly smaller than the glitter frame. I used two different papers for the background. I wanted the heart to show through the frame on the bottom half of the bookmark. Using George cut 2 letter B’s, for the lower case cut the top off one of the “B’s” and glue onto tan paper. The scallop square is cut using the Celebrations cartridge from glitter paper. I used a square punch to cut the inside out and stamped baby in black below the glitter frame. Wrap the lace around the bottom of the card and attach another scrap the length of the finished bookmark. I used the slot punch to punch the hole for the ribbon to go through, sewed the button to the ribbon, and used a pop up dot to hold the flower on.

Recipe: Paper: Scraps of paper – two for background papers, tan, black glitter paper and one for the back of the bookmark.
Stamp: Hero Art – Small Variety Alphabet
Cricut Cartridges: Celebrations – Scallop Square 2 ½”. George – Letter B at 1 ¼”
Misc: Ribbon, lace, flower, button, thread, pop up dot square punch, slot punch, black ink

Here is the May template. We have a ton of blooms on this tree and it's the only thing in bloom at my house right now.

Standing Up

In the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper pack is this orange plaid paper. The Baby Girl and Baby Boy paper pack have colors that can be used in the other. I used this paper for both the girl and boy layout and added a sheet of solid card stock for the second page.

I used two different sizes for the photo mats 4 1/2" and 5 1/2". I just love the way the elephants turned out. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and more to cut the tags and All Mixed Up for the letters. The "UP" is cut at a larger size.

The elephants are cut from the Sunburn paper pack and the face is the solid side of the paper. Since I'm having issues with Design Studio I flipped my paper to have the elephants face the other direction. So I had the solid green face up to cut the elephants body and the striped face up to cut the face out, remember I'm using double sided paper for this.

The blue border is more of the two sided paper. I used a Fiskars punch (another of mom's) to punch one edge and folded over the top. The second pages is just reversed in the way I folded it over.

I thought I needed something behind the elephants and cut a circle. Here's the baby girl pages.

Tiny Fingers layout

is another one that was inspired from a poem. I was surprised to lean that the New Arrival Cartridge did not have a baby hand on it. I made this one from the hand on the Going Places cartridge and cut the thumb and first finger down using my corner rounder punch.

Cricut: Going Places hand

Misc: Ink pink, corner rounder punch, glue

More Baby pages.

Here's a couple more pages I made for the baby boy album. I used my Cricut to cut out the heart's (George cartridge) and the flourishes (Home Accents cartridge) for this page. The papers for both layouts are from Me&My Big Ideas and Sunblock and cardstock.. I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the hearts and placed them on pop up dots.

I also used my Cricut to cut out the circle and lettering for this page. The journaling around the circle is another poem and reads: Precious one, So Small So Sweet Dancing in on angel feet Straight from Heaven's brightest star What a miracle you are!

Tiny Feet

poem inspired this layout. I used Photoshop for the quote and printed it out on a piece of 4x6 off white paper. This is from a paper pack I had picked up from Sam's Club that is double sided called Sunburn. It is solid on one side and has a pattern on the other side. The background paper is from the Nana's Nursery Line. I used a sheet of vellum to mute the background paper where the footprints and the poem are as I wanted them to stand out.

Recipe: Paper: Nana's Nursery, Sunburn Paper pack: off white, three colors of pink and blue solid, Vellum
Cricut: New Arrival footprints cut out at 5"
Misc: Ink pink and blue, corner rounder punch, glue
