Layout

Here is another layout that was inspired by the previous post.
This is for a Baby Album and I thought it would look good for a picture of the Mom.

I stamped the daisy on white with the red ink and cut them out. The leaves and stems were stamped on white with green and cut out.

Recipe: Paper: Pink, White and Red Stamps: Close to my Heart - From Me To You Ink Red and green, rust Misc: glue and pop up dots

A Layout

Sue's layout here inspired me to do this one, so I picked up a clear stamp roller to do a couple of album pages. I loaded up the roller with a couple of stamps, inked in blue and rolled onto the page. It actually took me a couple of tries to get the look I wanted. I learned I can not roll a straight line.

I then cut out of white card stock a bunch of skulls at 2 inches, trimmed around them, and inked the edges in blue. The stars are cut in two different colors of yellow/gold paper at 1 1/2 inches.

I used pop up dots on some of the skulls and stars to help witht he layerd look. The picture mate will hold a 4x6 picture with 1/4 inch border all around.

Recipe: Paper: White, light blue, dark blue, yellow and gold Ink: dark blue Cricut: Indie Art Stamps: Close to My Heart - Army: dog tags, Inkadinkadoo - Rock Star: Skull border, Rock 'n Roll Skull, and star Misc: glue and pop up dots

Cricut Card Candy

I'm in a swap for Card Candy and here is mine. We were suppose to make 7 pieces of candy using our Cricut. I didn't quite follow the rules as they were suppose to be on one piece of plastic measuring 4 x 7, I have the extra plastic for the 7the piece of candy.

I used the following cartridges: Home Accents, George, Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, Fabulous Finds, Doodlecharms, and Celebrations. Each piece needed to be embelished so I used my cuttlebug, buttons, ribbon, embroidery floss, ink and glitter.

License Plate Album

I don't know about you, but there are a few Cricut Cartridges that I think I don't need to buy because I don't need them. A couple of them are: Going Places, Graphically Speaking, and 50 States. My kids are older so no school projects. DS asked me to make an album for his trips he is taking this year and I remember this Album from one I had seen on one the Yahoo Groups. The Bog is Scrapped Lives and the album is called a Travel Portfolio. So when Joann's had their cartridges on sale I sent my DS and DH to the store

I'm making an album for License Plates. I know it sounds funny, but my DS will stop at the junkyards and pick up a couple of plates from each state he's been in, (no I haven't started the other album). The first one he gave me was for Alaska. I Incorporated the State, State Flag, and Name on the page from 50 States and then added a note paper from Graphically Speaking.

I am using binder rings to hold everything together.

April Template

I'm a messy gardener. I don't clean out all of my flower beds for the winter and trim everything back. I like to look out the window in the middle of winter and see more than just the snow piles. Here is a picture of the Hydrangea's that I did not trim down last fall. I know it leaves more to do in the spring, but I don't mind, and this is the last bed I have to clean.

March Template

Here is the March Digital template. I pass by this old tree a couple of times a week, either walking or biking after the snow is gone. This tree has such character. I took this picture just before we got another couple of inches of snow.
