Life Happens

I have to confess that the stamp set I included in my October Counterfeit Kit was never opened until now. Usually it's no big deal because it's only a month or two before I use them, but this one is over two years ago, it just kept being pushed to the back.

I used the envelopes I included in my Counterfeit Kit as a pocket for another picture.  Since I was doing three layouts using the same envelope I made a template for the back side of the envelope.  I still have a couple more to use up.

I included a couple more stamps on this layout.  Just had to do the puppy foot prints. Then I just had to imitate them with the rhinestones for an additional accent. I had the punch on my desk and decided I needed just a little bit of green accent on the left side so I punched a piece of green and tucked it behind everything.

Now my youngest layout is always a challenge.  It basically the same as the 12x12 layouts but on a 8 1/2x11 scale.

I messed up on his layout although he won't know unless he stops by here.  See where that rhinestone paw print is - I was tearing up and moving the paper around and a bit of adhesive from the paper landed onto the picture.  So the dilemma is do I re-print the picture or do I try to cover it up.  I set the picture aside until the rest of the layout was done and re positioned the picture then decided to just cover it up with a rhinestone paw print.

My journaling reads: This is one of Izzy's favorite places to ride or to just sit and wait.
