'Just you' and 'Don't stop believing'

I've completed a couple of layouts using up some of my scrap pile.  I just don't know how it gets so out of control.  I did both a boy and a girl 8 1/2 x 11 layout using different paper and stamps but keeping the sketch the same.

I think the background paper is from a Me and My Big Ideas 12x12 pad and I had just this piece left.  I trimmed it up and used it as my base.  I decided to add the Tim Holtz heart wings die to this to tie into the wing that you see peeking out toward the top of the mat.  The heart with wings stamp from Unity was the perfect touch to finish off the mat.  I layered various trims to the bottom and at the top of the photo mat.  I actually had to punch the border for this one as I wanted one that was a bit bigger so I cut off the scallop and punched the Double Arches.

And a close up of the heart wings. I used lots of layers here.

The background paper is American Crafts - The Color of Memories and it's left over from a mini album I finished.  I stamped the butterfly and the sentiment on the photo mat then added the trims.  I use up some of my leftover pieces from project by punching and die cutting then placing the pieced in a baggie in a basket.  That is how I made this butterfly.  I layered the butterfly together and only glued the center where the body would be, bent the wings then added the rhinestone to the top butterfly.

Here's a close up of the butterfly.
