Take time to smell the flowers

I pulled out the two sheets of Pink Paislee "Love Letter" from my November Counterfeit kit for these layouts.  I wanted the "Sweet" and the "Love Notes" to show so I was careful not to cover that up.

I folded the corner over to add a little more accent under the "sweet" then layered on the papers.  I again used the embossing folder but ran it through twice just to give it a more distress look.

For the 8 1/2 x 11 page I cut the "love notes" off and just made sure the "sweet" was showing.  The chipboard is painted with a paint dauber and on the flourishes I just sponged the peeled paint over the paint.

For my layout I used the cut off "Love Notes"  and a pieces of off white cardstock for the top.  I did a double banner on each layout, scattered a few rhinestones around and added sequins on the inside of the flowers.

So sweet!! Everything comes together great and compliments the adorable photo. I love the pink strip that ties in with the flowers, the turned corner and the pretty banner, especially.
