Scrapbook Heaven Blog Hop - Day 4

Welcome to Scrapbook Heaven's "Spring in to My Step" blog hop!! Thanks so much for joining us! If you are just joining us and didn't realize a blog hop was taking place, please go back to Scrapbook Heaven and start the Hop!

For today I have another Spring-y layout for you. This one just screams "Boys" to me. My guys collected a lot of worms and dragonfly's so that must be why. I used several Cricut Cartridges for this layout and will post the list at the end. I also inked around most of the edges in brown ink - I forgot to do this until I had everything put together.
The dragonfly is cut twice and layered with a pop up dot in between the layers to give it more dimension.

The worm has pop up dots behind it, so it will act as a photo corner. The journal tag is glued only on the right side and bottom, so that the photo will fit behind it. I used the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl for the tree and the bumblebee wings (I did have to run the tree top through the Cuttlebug twice in order to get all the leaves. On the tree base and grass I used Forest Branches. I also used pop up dots behind the light green grass.

Your next stop on the blog hop is Carla.

Our blog hop runs from Saturday, April 17th to April 20th. Invite your friend s to play along! We'll be drawing for a prize on April 21st, and don't forget to check out the April 17th post for a chance to win a prize from me.
