For my card I and show casing some Fluttering Butterflies.
I started with a piece of cardstock cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. I then punched one side.
The pink cardstock is cut to 3 1/2 x 5 1/4 and the edges are distressed. I then stamped the flourishes with the Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I made the sheer ribbon ruffle on the blue cardstock using the Sookwang double sided adhesive. I then added a pieces of variegated crochet thread. I then layered the ruffle strip with the pattern paper onto the pink cardstock.
I stamped the butterflies with Versamark Ink onto vellum and embossed with white embossing powder. I cut out each butterfly and pressed the wings up away from the body.I used a combination of Glossy Accents and pop up dots to attach my finished butterflies to the card front. From the side view they look like they are flying off the flourish. I saved one of the butterflies for the inside of the card.
To finish my card I added a few pearls to the front.
