Liberty State Park

The Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog inspiration this month is stars.  So I dug through the photo's I have printed off but do not have pages already planned.  I came across a couple my oldest had taken when he was in New York City in 2009 that I thought were perfect for this challenge.

I started with the blue paper and used the Cricut Artbooking cartridge cut out the star paper.  I then centered it onto the Kraft paper and outlined all the stars with a white gel pen.  I ran the red cardstock through the Star embossing folder a couple of times to emboss the whole piece.

I had some light grey stars already cut out and used a red marker to color them then traced around them with the white gel pen.  The veneer stars are inked in blue and white and scattered around the page.

I have a journaling tag tucked behind the photos with a blue and white star on it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Super stylish page - love the way you've added definition by outlining in white.

Very moving photos and your outlining in white gel pen really sets off those bold stars. Nice job!
