Merry Christmas Get Together

I started by spraying the white cardstock with the glimmer mist then inking the distress stamps with the tattered rose and stamping randomly on the page (I did use the heat gun to dry everything so that I could start on the layout). I forgot to take a picture of the background before I started layering everything on it.

I pulled the frame stamps from my January Counterfeit Kit, stamped with black soot, embossed with clear embossing powder and then fussy cut them out.  I backed them scraps of pattern paper that goes with this months kit of the blues and pinks.

I need toner for my printer so I printed the pictures out on my mini LG Pocket Photo printer which is the two 2x3 pictures.  I was able to get the two 1 1/4" X 1 5/8"  pictures on the right to print as the ink was running out so I included.

After that it was just a matter of layering the photos with the buttons, stamped images and punched pieces of paper.

My oldest was over needing to fix a leather watch band that was a Christmas Gift so I was digging through looking for a couple of leather snaps and found Grandma's box of Sequins, beads, and buttons.  At one time she was making the Styrofoam ornaments and had this left over box.  So I filled up a small spice jar with it and am including it with my January Renew Kit, (I just have to watch out for the pins!)

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh I like the scattered layout of this page - that's the kind of thing that is really hard to pull off. Yours looks fab!
