I'm starting off simple for this set of layouts. I pulled the Heirloom Stack out to do a couple of layouts for my guys. I'll start with the 12x12 double page layout.
I did a lot of inking on all of the papers and I distresses the tan cardstock only. I made a fake tag and put it behind the 4x6 photo mat. I did a little bit of stamping with the dragonfly.
On the left side I cut the red paper into a banner just to add a little bit of interest. The red yarn is a scrap from a scarf I had made a couple of years ago. I thought the color was perfect with this set of papers.
I changed the papers for the 8 1/2x11 layouts.
Instead of the red paper I used a piece scrap of vellum and substituted the tan twine for the red yarn.
I again stamped the dragonfly a couple of time on each page.
Thanks for stopping by.

The dragonfly stamps goes so well with the papers and I like the way you tied the yarn and twine around a couple of the blocks too.
Very pretty layouts Cindy. I do love that stack pad one of my favorites from DCWV. The inking keeps up with the vintae look of the papers in that kit. I like how you used the distress papers on the layout, definitely a masculine style layout.
These all look excellent. Your stamp goes well with the papers that you've selected. The tag was a good idea too.
The papers and the dragonflies evoke a calm peaceful feeling. Nicely done.
