Fresh Start - January Counterfeit Kit

Well the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog has had their January Challenge kit up for a couple of days now. They went with the  Scarlet Lime Planners and we can choose a planner from April on for inspiration.  It looks like each planner had 4 to 6 papers in it along with a few rubons, washi tape, buttons and die cuts and a stamp set.

Welcome to my January Counterfeit Kit - Fresh Start. I pulled color inspiration from a couple of the kits to make a few mini individual scrapbooking kits this month. I just could not decide on one kit or color scheme.

From the April and May Kit I pulled out turquoise and red.
Paper from the bottom to the top: Pop Culture - Bombshell; Jenni Bowlin - Tangerine Floral and Red Love Song; and Creative Imaginations - Narratives by Karen Russell; Pink Paislee - She Art Collection "Hope" and Truth". I saw that Leslie had included some of this collection in her kit and I'm hoping her inspiration rubs off on me.

From the October Kit I pulled out a few papers with oranges and blues, mine is a lighter blue, all is from Me and My Big Ideas except for the slanted strip paper and that is from DCWV- the Stack 6, and this is old product from 2007 and 2008.

I'm adding the Heirloom Stack as there is a few layouts I want to make with this stack of papers and the turquoise, red, blue and tan are in the inspiration kits which is in the August kit.

Lastly I'm including Farmers Market from We R Memory Keepers which covers the rest of the colors and the November kit with plenty of floral papers and a softer color scheme. I have not touched this kit since I got it this summer and there are a few embellishments included in it and I'm hoping I get quite a few layouts from it.

As for the embellishments I just pulled a few.

There are buttons in brown, tan, white and gold, a few tan and brown flowers, rhinestones and pearls and chipboard trees I would like to use up. I pulled a few dies - my standard bird die, deer, doily and a couple of branches. I will probably pull in a punch or two later on. I couldn't decide on a ribbon so I'll add that as I scrap.  I know I want to use a couple of Cricut Cartridges monthly and at this point I know I want to use the Artbooking Cartridge but will probably add another as I scrap. I will also add a few stamps - I just couldn't make a decision as to which ones.

As always I reserve the right to add to my kit as I go. I didn't pull any cardstock and will be adding that as I go.

Thanks for stopping by.

Ooh, a bold start to the New Year with plenty of counterfeiting! I love that you've taken inspiration from a few of the kits (and I love the inclusion of the Farmer's Market Collection - it's lovely.)

Enjoy counterfeiting with us this month! x

I like that you made a couple of color-themed kits - that will give you lots of options when you're working on layouts. I also really like that Farmer's Market paper pad. The colors are soft and lovely. Have fun playing along this month - looking forward to seeing what you make!
