our dog

I'm actually starting with page set #1 from my October Counterfeit Kit.

I decided to use white cardstock and blue cardstock for the accents. I printed my photos at 3x4 and 4x6 and trimmed them down a bit so that the white mat shows.

I did not want to cover up the circles and stars so I used the smaller photos on that paper.

I stamped the "our dog" on the Everyday Essentials paper, added the journaling, a pieces of the Dark Colors basic paper as a banner and the date.

I use my paper trimmer to cut the photo frame, then lined everything up in the Misti and stamped the Chihuahua with Versa Mark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  I stamped and punched the "man's best friend" and used some foam tape behind it.

I used the Misti to stamp the paw print three times on the 4x6 photo mat. I added a mini banner and wrapped the embroider yarn around it a couple of times.

The journaling reads: "Izzy is always so happy to see you, even though you tease her unmercifully. Then she looks to me to save her."

For my oldest I used the same layout but changed the Chihuahua to the star shaker card. I think I should have used more glitter in the card. I also punch a few stars out of white cardstock then used the circle punch.

For my youngest I cut down the size of the photos on the bottom row and took out the shaker card.

I added the shaker card to the left side and since I didn't like the way it turned out I left the glitter out.

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm still amazed at how you make multiple layouts of the same subject for all your children - what treasures those will be. Great pages with lots of color!
