I created another 6 cards from the scraps in my January Counterfeit Kit New Beginnings.
Card #1 is the Rose card #1. The inspiration for this came directly from Unity Stamp Co as they had posted a similar one. I stamped and then embossed with black embossing powder. I really like the Misti as I needed to re-stamp a couple of times. I then spritzed it with water, inked a baggie, spritzed it with water and pressed it onto the stamped image. Repeat the above process with scattered straw.
Card #2 is the birds. This stamp reminded me of Easter so I colored them in lighter colors. I added a bit of pom pom trim to the bottom of the card.
Card #3 is another Unity girl. I had this piece of pattern paper with the purple in it and wanted that for my card base and colored her to match. I added a piece of embossed vellum and a ribbon around the white cardstock.
Card #4 is another rose card. I used the same technique as in card #1 just in different colors.
Card #5 is one of the Heart stamps that was in the kit. The heart is stamped, colored with markers and cut out. I ran a black marker around the edge so the white cardstock would show where I cut it out. I embossed the white cardstock, inked the edges, layered on a couple of scraps then my colored heart.
Card #6 is the other heart that is in the stamp set. This is my second attempt with this stamp. I stamped, embossed with clear embossing powder then stamped the flower side onto pink and green cardstock. I then paper pieced the flower and leaves onto the white cardstock.
On my first attempt I tried the spritzing and did not like how it turned out.
Once again I have not stamped any sentiment on the inside as I will do that when I use the cards.

Beautiful cards Cindy :) Great way to use up those scraps and a fun way to use some stamps too
These are all lovely, but that Unity girl stamp is truly fab. They do such a nice job with ladies.
Really pretty card collection! <3
