Sympathy Card

Well I pulled out my March Counterfeit Kit - Flutter By's to make another Sympathy Card. I used the Stampin' Up Set - Elements of Style and the Misti.

 I cut the main piece a little bit smaller than my card base.  I made a mask of the bird and lined up two stamps along with the two dies. I used tracing paper to help line up the flower and branch stamp as it is all one piece until I had the placement I liked.

 

Once I got the placement correct I stamped the bird and used the mask in the next step. I stamped the flowers and branches several times. I am using markers to color the stamp so it took several times to get the colors where I wanted them.

After everything was dry, I lined up the stitch rectangle dies and put it through my Cuttlebug.  (I messed up here on the first one and had to start over as the die didn't cut all the way through so I had to start over.)

The outside panel is adhered directly to the front of my card base, I pop up the next one and the last panel is again adhered direct to the front of my card base.
