and this is what she has to say " The image is from Studio Calico and was used as a sneak peek for their may 2016 kit. I loved the rainbow of colours and thought it was quite fitting for current events. I love that the rainbow symbol is being used around the world to show solidarity and unity and thought it was a good fit for iNSD where scrapbookers around the world come together to celebrate their hobby! I also like that it included little houses and "home is where the heart is". And whilst I didn't want the current world events to be the basis of this, it does seem that this is what people are scrapping about at the moment so it may quite poignant."
Our instructions were to pick a paper and a scrapbooking must have embellishment and a challenge. This is what our kits look like with all the Master Forgers picks.
I picked the Thankful Heart paper from Maggi Holmes Gather Collection,
the American Crafts Blessed chipboard stickers
and my challenge is to stamp on your layout. I am using the Unity Stamp Company's April Kit of the Month as it is part of my challenge.
Next I pulled a small kit together. based on this. I added black cardstock, flowers, bottle caps which I don't think I will ever use up, pearls, lace (it's actually bias tape) and my stamped image using black ink an white cardstock.
I made two layouts for today using the same stamped image. Up first is "Capture"
I love the girls that were included in this stamp set and thought it was perfect for telling my story.I don't have a picture for it yet.
I used the bottle cap to hold the "#smile" chipboard and then tucked in the pink flower. Originally I was planning on coloring in the stamp but I love it in black and white. Above the girls I tucked in another flower added a heart from the chipboard sheet and a couple of pearls.
The Second layout is "Sweet". I used the plus signs as quotes for Sweet then added the turquoise flowers along with a bottle cap and the life is lovely chipboard. A few of the pearls are added around the journaling and stamped image.
I know you're asking what does a group of girls doing on a layout with a picture of Derek? Well my story is about "Girls Night Out", Katie, her mom, sister and one of her friends had a girls night out before David had to leave town for a month. David and Derek came over to our house and hung out with us.
Be sure to stop by the Counterfeit Kit Community Facebook group to see the full kit from us, what our picks are and of course the Challenges to keep you scrapping today.

Awesome kit you created and lovely layouts too
You did such a great job taking your minimal items and making up a mini kit and your layouts are really super sweet! The stamped image is so good and I am so in awe of your stamping skills :-) I wish I could be as good as that. I love that Crate Paper pp and the colours are so perfect. Thanks for an awesome challenge and a great showcase!
