Fall Colors

I'm on a roll here so maybe the creativeness is coming back.  I'm on layout 7 using my Counterfeit Kit for July.  I'm using Map #1 from Scrapbook.com's PageMaps challenge for this layout.  There are a total of 5 layout challenges in this category.

I picked the Pink Paislee paper from my kit for this one.   I cut down the white cardstock so that it fits behind the scallop border and does not show and switched the sides that the paper is on.

I added the photo to the pattern paper side then used a plain piece of cardstock to layer the lace on as a divider between the pages.  As you know I've pulled out a bunch of the stick pins from a swap and found two for this page then added some of my pre-made flowers and embroidery yarn to the layout.

Capture the Moment

Here's another layout using my July Counterfeit Kit - Summer Chuck Wagon kit for my oldest.  In June they spent some time chilling and relaxing down at the campground so I figured he needs a couple of pages for the pictures he took .  I'm also using Map #2 from the Scrapbook.com PageMaps challenge for this layout.

I'm letting my Bella Blvd "Just Because" paper do most of the work for me on this layout by letting it represent all the circles with the embellishment's in them.

I also used a printable for the banner, journal spot, date spot and "heart" summer tag.  I also used it to fill in the bottle cap.  I printed these onto white gloss photo paper then cut them out. 

I decided the page needed a few pinwheels so I used some scraps to make them, then added a few punched hearts to carry on the "love summer" theme.

Beautiful Rainbows

I still have a few papers left from my May Counterfeit Kit and I pulled them out for the PageMaps Challenge at Scrapbook.com. I tried to make my July Chuck Wagon kit work but just did not like the colors of the papers against the photos.  The challenge is use this PageMaps Sketch for challenge #3.

I used a doily for the circle accents under the photos, flowers and birds for the accents on the page.  I did use the die cuts that were in my July Kit for banners as my journaling spots, so I guess you can safely say I did use both kits. 

We had been out to dinner with friends and as we were drive home we were crossing over the Mississippi River on the Wakota Bridge, the rainbow appeared and a little further along we were able to see the double rainbow.
