Good Times

I think this is going to be the last layout for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge which is probably a good thing - I need to clean my desk up.

I started my October Counterfeit Kit Challenge with 20 different pattern papers.   In the DCWV - Photo Reel Stack 3 I had three sheets of each pattern paper but since I'm doing multiple layouts with these I only counted it as one.  Now I added another set of pattern paper so that I could scrap a second set of layouts for my youngest son, so I think I can replace that with one of other pattern papers I did not use with the one I did use.   That being the case I did not use six of the pattern papers.  I had picked 4 with the intention of making some layouts of my Grandmothers and Mom but just didn't get to them. I will probably keep them separate for those pictures and do them during November. The other two papers I'm just adding back to my stash as I did not have anything planned for them.

For my final set of layouts I used Sketch #101 from Sketchabilities and I was inspired by Elvira Souza's layout.   So I made a fake envelope with foam tape behind it and a 4x6 photo mat on top.  I used pop up dots behind the photo mat leaving two place for the guys to put memorabilia if they so choose.

After that it was just layering some of my pre-cut embellishments.  I did do a little bit of stamping and embossing.  I also hand cut the felt hearts and birds.  I really like the way they turned out so I will have to add them to my pre-made embellishments.  The stick pins are one I have altered and just added the beads to finish them off. (Looking at the above photo I took the picture before I added the frame).

Thanks for stopping by.

Super cute layouts Cindy! So impressed with how many you got out of the kit. Thanks for the inspiration, hope that you will continue in Nov, thought I would give a try too so many pictures to scrap this maybe the smart way to tackle it.
