BRRRR

I used a Scrapbook Generation Sketch's for my layouts today. The background paper is from my January Counterfeit Kit and the rest were added in for this layout.  But everything else was included in my Counterfeit Kit.    I really wanted the words paper to show on my layout - especially the BRRRR.

I Snapped a couple of pictures with my phone as I was giving the guys a jump.  They just kill me it's 20 below out there and: No Hat, No Gloves, Coats Unzipped - go figure.

I added one of the letters from the Alphabet Gems to highlight the "B" in BRRR.  The colors on the paper went from light to dark and I wanted it to stand out a little more.

For the 8 1/2 x 11 I shrunk the photos down a little to make everything fit on the page.

Each layout has the same journaling. It is hidden on the tag behind the pictures.  I typed it out in Word then printed it out onto white cardstock and traced around a shipping tag, cut it out and added my embellishments.

My journaling reads:
Our cold weather started off with a bang. We had temperatures down to -25 with out the wind chill which took us down to -50. Over 10 years of living in Minnesota and this is the first time the guys had to jump their due to the cold.

It's so cold out that Izzy doesn't even want to stick her head out the window.

Thanks for stopping by.
