Sing me a song

I have another layout from my February Counterfeit kit.  I had snapped this little birdie last summer as he hung out on the deck singing his song.  We had a nest under our deck and it could have been the momma getting some sunshine while the little ones slept.

I used another piece of the Urban Couture paper for the background on this one.

I was going to mat the photos and take them from left to right but I didn't want to cover up all the green and yellow flowers so I changed the orientation to top to bottom.  I added the last little bit of the rose trim along the edge of the photo strip.

I punched a piece of vellum with the flower burst to imitate the lighter pattern in the papers, then a tan, the dark brown is left over from my previous page "the love we give away" .  I had a little bit of a brown rhinestone swirl that I cut apart and added to each little collection of flower burst and birdie cluster.

 Thanks for stopping by.

Love the layout :) and your choice to have the pictures go up and down makes total sense the eye has a place to look away at the lovely flowers too.
