July Counterfeit Kit - Summer Chuck Wagon.

Can you believe that it's July? The month are going faster and faster it seems. So my "mom" duties are done for the day until later and I though I would try to get this post up. For inspiration The Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog picked the Balboa Kit from Noel Mignon.

It's a kit that seems to have just about everything in it - frames, stencils, glitter paint, tags and all kinds of goodies.  So let's start with the papers. Below is just the kit papers. I do love the butterfly paper and am trying my hand at making my own.

Starting on the left side for my papers I pulled a sheet of the banner paper from Dear Lizzy that is similar to the kit, then the Bella BLVD  and Pink Paisley paper for the orange chevron paper.  After that I went with the darker greens for the teals in the kit. I need to make a couple of shooting competition pages and the "Bulls Eye" is perfect for that. It's another month with some chalk board type paper and I just am not on that band wagon So I'm substituting the Black and White paper from DCWV's Ultimate Premium Stack (center row).    I have been hoarding the Lost & Found papers on the right for my oldest's Europe Trip from his last deployment and need to get them out of my stash and into his, so in they go.

I need to make a few more mini albums so I'm included a bunch of the papers from the DCWV Heirloom Stack for them and then pulled out the Crate Paper Portrait Collection 6x6 pad for a paper bag mini (2 rows along the bottom that are squares).

Now for the embellishments as I said there seems to be a little bit of everything.  I'm going to counterfeit the bubble and babbles stickers with cardstock, ink and the Impression Obsession stamps and am going to Counterfeit the American Craft Chalk Tag only without the chalk.

I'm using my home made enamel dots instead of the jellies, some bottle caps instead of the wooden circles.  I've got a Dear Lizzy sticker sheet I've had forever so in it goes along with the DCWV Quote stack.  I added a couple of stencils, stamps, and the dies.  If I get a chance I would also like to make a couple of the tags on the My Mind's Eye Chalk decorative brads.  I plan on using the Cricut or Silhouette for the frames, speech bubbles, and maybe the word stencils.

So there is my July Counterfeit Kit - Summer Chuck Wagon because I'm kind of all over the board scrapping  destination here and far and various projects this month.

Thanks for stopping by.

nice kit. I like the way you have substituted things that don't work for you in the original kit. And it sounds like you have lots of plans for what you want to make with it so we'll be looking out for your creations!

Looks like you've got a wonderful kit to play with for the month! I love how you changed up things that don't work for you, as well as your counterfeiting plans (I always make plans to make such and such and never get to it!). Can't wait to see what you make this month!
