August Counterfeit Kit

The Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog is using a kit from Papier Werkstatt called Monatskits.

Love the little bag and Mini album to make along with the felt and hand made paper and the little pops of color with the embellishment pack.

For my August Counterfeit Kit I am again making the page sets, but I'm including older (sometimes really old) paper pads that I have not used or not used very much of. My goal is to use them up and get them out.

Page Set 1: I have old DPS from Stampin' Up - "Botanical Gazette" and a couple of sheets of " Love Letters" both of these sets I have been hoarding. I've pared it up with Prima's "Vintage Emporium" Wood  embellishments and Ephemera, some ribbon and lace.

Page Set 2:
The inspiration kit had the makings of an awesome mini album in it, I'm cheating on this one page set as I am using a Pink Paisley Artisan Album which includes 6 chipboard pages in it.. I've matched it up with an 8x8 paper and punch out set from Deja View - fresh print Mango (this was a free from Archiver's when they had an actual store location).

Page Set 3:
I thought this kit was perfect to represent the black sheets in the inspiration kit. I've had this Black tie Scrap Kit from K & Company in my stash forever. It's on the kits that my guys had picked up for me.  The kit has word stickers, die cuts little glossy alphabets,  ribbon and 8 papers.

Page Set 4:
As I was putting my sets together I was feeling guilty so I'm including a Mini Album that I will be making the pages and the chipboard album. Here I have scraps of cardstock, Bind- It- All -"O" wires
and Bind-It-All. For the embellishments I will be using DCWV Quote Stacks- "Cardstock Stickers - Anniversary" and "Rub on - Friendship", Stamps - Unity Stamp Kit of the Month and Heidi Swapp Various Mini Brads and Punches - Stampin' Up - round Tab, Ticket, Corner Rounder and some DIY embellishments.

Here's a picture of the paper that I used the Bind-It-All on. I think I need more "O" wires. It is just a bunch of scrap paper, the larges cut to 8"x 6".   I'm keeping this Mini Album Page Set in a tray with the punches, some the stamps, chipboard for the covers (which looks like I will need some more of) and the smaller supplies.

The orange piece on top is my template. I always make a template for the album - It helps me line up the little smaller pieces that do not go all the way to the end when I'm putting the holes in the paper.

Page Set 5:
I pulled another set of papers I've had for a while and never touched. It's from Colorbok has a sheet of stickers and a sheet of punch outs. I've added a few ribbons and a package of hemp cord in the tans and brown colors to go with this set.

Of course I will be adding cardstock as I scrap. I also have a couple of Silhouette files I would like to use. I signed up for the PMU classes for the Silhouette so some of them will be from there and I want to make a few of my own.  I just don't use the Silhouette enough so this is the start of it.  I also have included a couple of Cricut Cartridges - Graphically Speaking and Going Places.
For the DIY Mini Album  I will be doing some stamping so Ink, embossing power and markers will be added as I do the pages.

I love the way you've thought ahead and arranged it into pages. It looks like you're going to be a busy lady. Thanks for joining in at CKC.

Your way ahead of me this month, lol I just barely got a few pieces around so far. I love that your putting yours into kits like that already to go and it works out very nicely too. Maybe after I get my kit classes done I'll give this a try too. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the mini :) Have fun creating this month :) I'll be busy this weekend getting my kit gathered up :)

Another thumbs up for how you create your kits. I only know of one other person who puts page kits together.
