January Counterfeit Kit Reveal and Blog Hop

Happy New Year! I'm excited to be part of the Counterfeit Kit Master Forgers this year.

You should have arrived from Margie's blog ScrappinMargie for the Counterfeit Kit Reveal and Blog Hop. You can start here and continue on or click here to go back the beginning of the hop. I have the full hop listed below.

January's Inspiration comes from Cocoa Daisy's November 2017 "Fair Isle" kit,

There is a pocket keeping kit and a

Day in the life card kit also.

I found an unboxing video of the "Fair Isle" kit here. It was nice to see some of the smaller pieces and what some of the back sides of the Exclusive papers look like in the kit. I loved both sides the "Holly Jolly", the back side of the Pebbles "Merry Merry" which is the musical notes and the deer tags.

Here is my January Kit - Holiday Joy.
Paper set one:

Reminisce - Here Comes Santa; My Mind's Eye - Lost and Found "Santa Paper"; Bo Bunny - Holiday Cheer Stripe; TPC Studio - Christmas Cheer "Lights Loops"; Bo Bunny - Holiday Cheer Plaid; TPC Studio - Christmas Cheer "Seasons Greetings", Ribbon Candy Stripe"

Paper Set two:

Unknown Snowflake paper; Bo Bunny - Holiday Cheer; Crate Paper - Snow Day Collections "frosty"; Collagepress - Cheery and Bright; Unknown Christmas Word paper; DIY paper; Teresa Collins - Christmas Cottage "Tiny flowers", "Countdown" and "Red Damask"

The top is from an old Paper Wishes Shaped Christmas card set. I thought they would make great embellishments on a layout. The 8x8 pattern paper is by Pressed Petals. The Poinsettia and snowflake paper reminded my of the inspiration kit so I put the whole pack in . There are enamel dots by Recollections, glittered wood clips, felt stickers by TPC Studio, doilies, ribbon, bottle caps, tags and pom poms.

I've included a couple of stamp sets, die cuts and a star die.

The die cuts are from Pinkfresh studio - gold foiled die cuts; Stamps: 7 gypsies - pretonia and 2 sets from Scrapbook Cards and Today. The labels are from A Vegas Girl at Heart and punched with the EK Success label punch. I have a bunch of them printed and punched out ready to go for scrapbooking.

I've included some snowflake stamps, left over sticky alphabets, Kaiser Craft Rub ons - "Dash Away All",   Christmas tree punch, a couple of wood stencils and embossing folders, Tim Holtz music note washi, a Stamp Up Music stamps on a wheel, Unity Stamp Co snowflake stamp and a few Project life cards.

As usual I will be adding cardstock to  my kit as needed.

Thank you so much for stopping by. You next stop on the hop is Julene.

Great idea to get a closer look at the inspiration to see the "b" sides of the papers (sometimes I like those better than the "a" sides). You've pulled together a nice selection and I especially like those fun pom poms and the die-cut car with the tree. Have fun working with your kit this month and welcome to the team!

Fantastic kit Cindy :) Glad that I was not the only one focused in on the snowflakes :)Love that you separate you kits the way you do and thinking once I go through Nicole's kitting class that I will be doing the same :) The doilies are a nice touch to the layout :)

Wow! A big kit but so full of scrappy goodness that I'm sure it has you scrapping up a storm! Love all the elements you've added in. Inspired by the original but very much your own kit - great to have you with us Cindy!
