My Sketch World - Card 2

I again used the July Card Sketch from My Sketch World for my card today.

I made an oversized tag as I wanted more of my image to show on the tag and used watercolor paper.

After stamping my image in Versa Mark and heating setting the black embossing powder I started coloring my image.  I started with the lightest pink working to the darker pink, then added the lightest purple and darkest purple on the flower.

I did the same thing with the greens, then colored the light glue around the flower. I added the eyelet and bow and made an envelop pocket for my card.

I wrapped some embroidery yarn around my envelope, added the flower and pearl along with the stamped sentiment to finish off the envelope of the card. A few pearls on the top right of the tag to correspond to the sketch.

My Sketch World - card sketch

My Sketch World is back making card and scrapbooking sketches.  The July sketch is up on the blog and her facebook group.

I used my July Counterfeit Kit - Mix and Match to make my card. I pulled out the Stampin' Up Papers using the backside. I stamped the feather onto white cardstock that was trimmed down into a tag shape, made an envelope out of gray cardstock to tuck it into.

I added a button in place of the flower and a few enamel dots for the flowers on top.
