Hi everyone, thanks for joining me for Embossing at the Card A Day Blog. I've used both dry and wet embossing for my card today. Remember you can click on the images to get a larger view.
I started by stamping my images onto white cardstock. I stamped the flowers covered them with post it note masks then stamped the leaves. After all my stamping was done I dry embossed it with my embossing folder.
I them stamped one more blue flower, used clear embossing powder, and cut it out. I also stamped the sentiment. The embossed flower is up on pop up dots.
For the inside I added a piece of the green pattern paper at the top of the mat.
This is such a simple technique, adds such a wow factor and takes just a few minutes to do. I hope you enjoyed today's card.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wet and Dry Embossing
It's embossing week at Card A Day Blog and I used both wet and dry embossing on my card.
On my cream cardstock I stamped and embossed the dress form in the center of the cardstock. I then centered the dress form in the center of the embossing folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug. I applied Evergreen bough distress ink over the raised surfaces and repeated with the Vintage Photo. I lightly inked the inside of the frame where I stamped the dress form with Vintage Photo. I wrapped a brown ribbon around the left side of the card.
I used the Lace Ribbon Border punch to punch a strip from the cream cardstock and used Evergreen bough to shade it. I also inked the edges of the mat with Evergreen bough.
