Thanksgiving Organizer

I found this Holiday Organizer on Stamping and Scrapping with Jen and had to make one for Thanksgiving. It seems that everyone is already onto Christmas projects or are still making Halloween projects and I need to do something for Thanksgiving.

After I scored the folder I painted gold paint around all edges as I wanted my Organizer to have a gold border. Instead of the staple on the front to hold the ribbon on I use two small brads as I have a wider ribbon on this. The ribbon was a wire ribbon that I pulled the wire out of. I used the Bleeding Cowboys font for Thanksgiving on the front. The leaves are stamped on vellum and then embossed.

I'm not sure how everyone else who is making these decorate the inside covers. I kept my front pieces cut to the same size as the inside ones. I stamped the Celebrate, Family, and Friends on vellum and then embossed with clear embossing powder.

I used the Cricut for the T and stamped hanksging in gold a scrap piece of paper and attached it to the T with jute.

Inside the first pocket I have stamped a border on two pieces of vellum. The second pocket is a leaf stamped as a border down the side. The third pocket is a set of recipe cards from See Jane Scrapbook. In the last pocket I have three different sizes of envelopes with a border stamped across the top of two of them and autumn stamped on the last envelope.

Recipe:
Stamps: Hero Arts - Family, Celebrate, Friends, Wavy Daisy's, Wavy Bluebells, Autumn Border, Leaf from In the Garden Set, Wavy Pinwheels. Skeleton leaf from The Stampin' Place
Ink: Green, Gold, Brown, and Colorbox ink for the leaves, Brown for all edges.
Paper: Autumn Sparkle from Archivers, textured card stock in neutrals, miscellaneous scraps.
Miscellaneous supplies: gold paint, folder, silk leave, Memory Boutique Flowers, embossing powders, brown jute, punched leaves for inside bottom border.
