Crochet Blocks

I've been doing a little bit of crochet. The yarn is from my Mom's and Grandmothers' stash. I thought these colors would look good in a Granny Square Afghan. To keep me motivated I joined Ravelry as they have a Block a Month Crochet A longs. Since I now have a large yarn stash I decided to do all four of the Crochet A Longs: Crafters 12", Raveley's 12", Charity 8" and Ravelry's 6".

January's 12 inch block - Cute as a Button

January 8 inch block - Circle of Friends

January's 6 in block - Little Dahlia

February's Ravelry's 12 inch block -n Violet

February's Crafters 12 in block - Sun Daze

Ravelry is a free site for knitters and crocheters and has a lot of free patterns. You can check them out here.
Here is the yarn I'm using that have labels on them.
Rhapsody 100% Acrylic 4 ply Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn - Bright Yellow
LeeWards 100% Acrylic 4 ply Knitting Worsted Weight Yarn - Tawny White
Red Heart Wintuck 100 % Acrylic 4 ply Knitting Yarn - Tangerine
I've used several spools of off white without labels.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love your granny's! I'm on Ravelry, but had no idea they had challenges like this--need to go check it out. Thanks for sharing!
