Friends with Flair: Mini Album

It's Friends with Flair over at the Unity Blog. Today I'm sharing a project in the works for my sister who is a Grandma again. I'm making her a mini album to celebrate the occasion.

I decided to use the Baroque Die as the photo/ journaling mat in this mini album. The flowers on this page are all from the May Kit of the Month - Think Happy Thoughts. I've layered them with the Little Leaves die and the branch punch. Everything is on pop up dots so that the picture can slide in behind.

I made a belly band to hold this photo mat in place. The butterfly is from the April Kit of the Month - small thing matter most, after stamping it I used glossy accents to make it shiny. A pair of buttons finish off this page.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Unity Blog.

Recipe:

Paper: Nana's Nursery Baby Girl, Sunburn - green; white and tan card stock; Chip board page 5x7
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink - Tattered Rose and Wild Honey; Stampin' Up - Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzaz
Stamps: Unity's May Kit of the Month - Think Happy Thoughts - flowers and April's Kit of the Month - Small things Matter Most - Butterflies.
Die: Tim Holtz - Baroque; Stampin' Up - Little Leaves
Punch: Martha Stewart - Branch
Misc: Buttons, Glossy Accents, Embroidery floss, adhesive, pop up dots, Bind it All
