Moments with You

Here is my first layout with my Counterfeit Kit Challenge for October.  I started big - meaning I started with a large sheet of pattern paper.  I just trimmed a 1/2" from two sides of my paper and backed it with cardstock.   I then picked one of the DCWV sheets to make a banner and used the darker side to highlight the purple in the picture.

When I have scraps I punch and die cut a bunch of my shapes then ink and put them together so that when I am scrapping I can just grab them and create.  I also use my Cricut and Silhouette for this process.

I do the same thing with my label and tag punches. The blue and purple label are from Stampin' Up's Lots of Tags die.  I just cut the purple one in half and used the other half on the side of the page.

The birds and flowers for this project came from my pre-made jar.  The purple flower is from my jar but I cut it in half for this layout.

I used my Silhouette to cut print and cut the black labels on this project.  I have a baggie I keep them in as I have a couple of different sheets.

Thanks for stopping by.

A very sophisticated colour scheme.

Love the purple, that's a hard color to find in patterned papers for paper crafting. Love what you did with it here.
