Wildcat Hills Nature Center

I've used my November Counterfeit Kit for today's layout.  I started by trimming down the flower paper and distressing the edges. After the layout was all put together I decided I wanted the drawn lines around the edges so that was added everything was done.

I die cut a couple of the leaves for each layout and added them with a button.  The border punch is from my stash and was pre punched.

I really like the texture that the embossing folder added to the layout.  I cut around one of the medallions from the edge punch and backed the button with it.  I stamped the Recollections Arrow, cut it out and in half then added it to each of the pages.

My journaling on the back reads:
We had some time until we need to be at the cemetery, so Dad and Jerry suggested a ride through the WildCat Hills. We got out at one of the look outs and talked abut the changes that have occurred while we were gone. One of the things I can remember is  going on picnic's with Grandma Jessie here.

Love your embellies and the way the red grounds the photos and brings your attention in to them. Great pages!

Great color palette here that really works for your photos - and I love those little die-cut leaves you've anchored with buttons.
