Here's my second layout using my September Counterfeit Kit Challenge
- Summer Festival. I added quite a bit of cardstock based on the inspiration kit with the intention of stamping and using stencils on the background paper.
I had pulled out this butterfly and star stamp to go with my kit and think it is perfect for this layout. I punched a scrap of vellum then stamped twice after inking. I added a little bit of layering and make a mini banner with a paperclip, stamped a sentiment, a wood veneer camera and a few sequins and beads.
I have a journaling card on the back that reads - The flowers are from the Coleus that are planted in the small pots in front. The plants didn't get very big this year but the flowers were fabulous.
Tomorrow I'm traveling to North Dakota to spend the weekend with my youngest. They guys will be golfing on Saturday so I'm packing my kit and a few extras to take with me. I do have a forgery or two to share with you but I missed getting the information to Counterfeit Kit Challenge in time.
Thanks for stopping by.

Agree - the paperclip banner was genius!
Such a cool layout and I agree the paper clip is a perfect addition to the layout :) So this is what the new trendy thing is the paperclip banners :) Love the way you did your stamping too :)
Nice job on the stamping - it leads our eyes right through the page.
