may the Joys of the season be your

Master Forger Julene on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge sent link for a red and green challenge from Incy Wincy Designs. I combined this with the sketch challenge from  Hand Stamped Sentiments to make a quick card. Just something small to get back into the swing of things.

I trimmed down the red glimmer cardstock so that I had a white border. Mounted the red and green pattern paper from the 8x8 Pressed Petals assorted pack onto green cardstock. I embossed the vellum then cut it into a banner. I stamped the sentiment and used green cardstock for the border.

Card #2 is using the same supplies except for the vellum.

I switched it up a bit by embossing the green cardstock and using the pattern paper as the vellum. The sentiment is matted on the red glimmer cardstock only using the backside.

Thinks looks lovely. The vellum softens the whole thing.

Beautiful card! I have that same sketch printed off to use and I really need to get back started making my Christmas cards so I'm not rushing this year!

They're both very nice cards, and I like that they're the same, but different!
