Sympathy Card

I pulled out my  to make a sympathy card.

I matched up some blue cardstock to the flower paper in the paper pad. Cut the black cardstock down to a 8 1/2 x 4 1/2, folded in half to make my card base. I used the embossing folder on a piece of blue cardstock, the embossing is hard to see in the picture but it adds a nice dimension to the card. I stamped my sentiment on the lower portion of the card base.

I stamped the stems with the green ink then went back in and stamped the flower part with the white ink, added gold embossing power and heat it up. It's matted onto a piece of black cardstock.  I added the sheer ribbon and tied a bow. There are three little pearls under the ribbon.

For the inside of the card I trimmed a piece of the Mille and June paper and added it to the top of the white card base. Since I am taking this card to the office for everyone to sign I matted both sides of the inside of the card for plenty of room for writing.

I did the same stamping techniques for the outside of the envelope. I also added a piece of the flower paper to the inside of the envelope to tie it all together.
