Counterfeit Kit Challege - May Kit - Find the Happy in everyday

Happy May. Today is the reveal of the new Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit - Mind the Scrap - April 2018 kit. Emma Clark is our Guest Designer this month and you can find her here.

There are six pattern papers, three cardstock papers,  a large alpha, die cuts and word sticker set.  An unboxing video can be found here.

The embellishment kit contains word thickers, gold sequins and gold and turquoise letter stickers.

The Mixed Media kit contains ink, stamps and a punch.

Here is my May scrapbook kit - Find the Happy in everyday:

The original kit had 6 pattern papers in it, my papers include a tan with squares for the grid paper which was the back of the Jen Hadfield Patio Party Glow paper.  I loved the Heidi Swapp Hawthorn Nightfall paper both sides in the original kit I substituted two blue on blue pattern papers and a blue and tan stripe paper for them . For the Jen Hadfield Patio Party Tablescape flower paper I've picked a large floral pattern paper, The Heidi Swapp Hawthorn Middle of Nowhere paper matches up to my pink tone on tone paper and I've paired it with a pink, green and white flower paper and the light green cardstock. I made a DIY paper for the Heidi Swapp Hawthorn Middle of Nowhere paper.
I added in  word paper just because.

As I was cleaning up I came across a few papers from the Jen Hadfield Collection - Best of that I thought went well with the original kit. I have a turquoise paper, a black and white polka dot, woodgrain and a small black and white polka dot paper.

For my embellishments I've included pieces from Fancy Pants - Joy Parade, Golden Days and Mille & June Ephemera packs along with sequins, rhinestones, printable labels, wood veneers, DIY embellishments and a few chipboard pieces from unknown sources.

For the mixed media kit I'm adding Nuvo drops in Sugared Almond and Raspberry Pink, Stickles in golden rod and crystal, Distress inks in a variety of colors, a set of word dies from Peachy Cheap and a bunch of stamps. I'm using stamps from Unity Stamp Company, Basic Grey and Ali Edwards. I really need to do more stamping. I may add a few punches when I actually get to play with my kit and I'll be adding cardstock as needed.

Cindy! I love that year paper! So clever and I'm guessing you're sharing that with us on 4th - very inspirational! Your kit looks a lot of fun and I spy one or two papers from my own stash which should get used up! Great stuff and a good kit to work with
