OWH Sketch #70

I used Sunday's Sketch Challenge from OWH for today's card. This was a hard one for me. I had already picked out my stamps before I decided to use a sketch to make a couple of cards.

Here is Sketch # 70 from Operation Write Home.

I wanted to use Nature's Silhouettes but the background stamp with the trees didn't look right with the circle. I then pulled out Autumn Days and the pheasant was to large and to small for the circle. To large length wise and to small height wise. I then used the pine cone and branch stamp from the set as a background for the deer.

Here is the inside of the card. I just added a strip of the DP to the top of the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Nice card, Cindy! I love the deer with the pinecones, it's very fall and masculine. Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

Hi Cindy, your card is beautiful! Love how you framed the deer with pine branches and cones. My brother-in-law from the Adirondacks would LOVE that.
