Christmas Card Blog Hop with Card A Day Blog

The blog hop starts on the Card A Day Blog.  If you came from Christine Patton's awesome blog, Creative Genie-ous you are on the right path,  (a complete list is posted at the end of this post if you  get lost along the way.)  Don't forget to participate in the card challenge for the weekend at the Card a Day Blog and a chance for some great prizes - one from each of the Card A Day Blog hosts - thats 12 pieces in all.

My card for today is A Merry Little Christmas to you

I started with a Kraft cardstock base and inked all the edges.  After embossing the green layer added a strip of glue to the bottom edge and placed it where I wanted it to go then lined up my striped layer.  I wrapped the red ribbon around both layers and attached this piece to to the red mat.  The ornament is punched out twice- one in the red cardstock and again in the glittered cardstock with the ribbon sandwiched between the layers.

For the inside I added another ornament on the left side of the card and a decorated mat for the right side of
the card.

Now before you go if you leave me a comment AND are a follower of my blog you'll be entered into a drawing for some blog candy from me.  This is a separate prize from  the Card A Day Blog prize and don;t forget to stop back tomorrow for more inspiration another chance for Blog Candy.  Now onto Cindy Pointe from  The Creative Pointe for her fabulous project.
