Fish Kisses

Here's my second set of pages from my "Back In Time" Project Life Album. The Challenge at Stuck on U Sketches is to use a card that has a heart Cut out.  I pulled out my Artbooking Cartridge as I knew it had a heart inside a circle that I thought would work.

I cut some of washi tape into banners, added the heart rhinestone and the heart cut out with another piece of washi tape banner.  Honestly I don't know how everyone photographs their project life pictures. The flocking in the bottom looks so much better in real life.

I used the banners as my title page and this is the last of the yellow rhinestone hearts.
The journaling reads: "I snapped a few pictures of the boys making "fish kisses" to send to Grandma."

Thanks for stopping by.

Awww they sure are cute. Your doing great with the PL stuff. Glad that Artbooking is working for you, I need to get it and play with it myself :)
The trick to get the PL photos are to have the page on the floor and you stand above it for the picture:) The I usually crop in picasa. (I hope that helps)

Super cute page! I know that taking pictures of Project Life layouts is hard. I struggle with it too. The glare from the plastic is bad, although I saw where someone said they leave their cards out of the pocket to take the photo. I also have troubles getting it straight. But as with everything else, practice makes perfect I guess! LOL! Thanks so much for playing along at SOUS and I really hope you can join us again soon!

Such a cute photo! I love it. When I take my PL picture I use my avaliable hand to help block the light that is causing the glare. And definitely make sure that your flash is off :) Thanks for joining us over at SOUS this week.

I have everything to do my own PL but somehow have not got started yet!!! I think they photograph their spreads outside the pockets a lot of the time (you know with each card laid on top of the corresponding pocket. This works if you're not embellishing on top of the pockets.
