5 Tags in 5 Days - Day 5

Here is my last tag. I just realized I did not faux stitch around this tag - guess I'll be going back to do that. I used the Itty Bitty Punch in the flower centers under the rhinestones.

I really like the way the Lace Edge Punch goes with the the real lace and keeps the top of the tag from being to bulky.

The "Bear Hug" was a vellum word art. I have know idea where I got this from but I just glued it on to the mini tag.

I have know idea what I will be using my tags for. I do have a couple of charity auctions coming up, maybe I'll donate them.

Thanks for stopping by.

5 Tags in 5 Days - Day 4

One of the scrapbooking supplies I have and don't use very often is pre-made stickers and rub ons. I normally just make the saying in Adobe Photoshop, print it out and glue it to my project. So I have been challenging myself to them on these tags. "Love" on the banner is one of the stickers.
I just love this heart from the A Child's Year cartridge. After cutting out with the Cricut I flipped it over and traced around it on the back of the pink paper to make the outline at the top of the heart.

I used a punched flower from the Itty Bitty Punches as a reinforced hole on the mini tags. You could easily cut this out on the Cricut. After gluing the mini flower on I punched the hole for the ribbon.

Recipe:
Paper: Garden Party Stack - blue and brown pattern; Me & My Big Ideas - pink pattern, white and blue grid paper, white, pink, green, kraft and orange cardstock, green pattern paper
Ink: Distress Ink - tea dye
Punch: Martha Stewart - Floral Lace Edge; Stampin' Up - Itty Bitty Shapes; Hole punch
Cricut Cartridges: A Child's Year, George, Tags, Bags Boxes and More.
Misc: glue, white and pink ribbon, pom pom ribbon, pop up dots

5 tags in 5 Days - Day 3

I cut my doily in half to make it appear bigger on my tag. The middle of the tag was going to be covered up anyway and the next larger size doily I had I felt I was going to be cutting to much of it off. The blue flower is Glimmer misted then distressed to tone the blue down.

I used the same cut at the one the front for my background but glimmer misted it. It looks so much better in person. Once again I cut my doily in half to make it appear larger than it really is.
The front of the mini tag is pretty simple. I used my ink pad to color the flowers then used the distress ink to tone it down a bit.
The back of the mini tag.
