I pulled out an older Unity Stamps Kit of the Month for todays card. I used design studio to make today's Christmas Card with the Close to my Heart - Art Philosophy cartridge on this card.
I've got a few more Christmas cards that I need to make. I love the way the metallic gold pen adds a richness to the card.

Dining Inn
I've use the black and white papers from my July Counterfeit Kit. I pulled them specifically for this photo of my oldest. I was going to have the photo be black and white also but I just didn't like the way it was going so I reprinted it in color.
I use the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut the scallop and all of the circles. The white ribbon came from Target in the Christmas Clearance aisle.
I used the Wilton's Rose Petals as leaves for the flowers. They came in white and a tulle and add such a nice accent on the page. A little bit of beaded trim and a few enamel dots finish off the page.

a season for love, A Season of Thanks . . .
Hi everyone thanks for stopping by. If you are here from the Card ADay Blog you know we are celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving this week.
I
started by cutting the background paper a little bit smaller than my
card. I then embossed and inked the flower shape that I cut with my
Cricut. The other shaped I just inked the edges. The leaves are
stamped onto white cardstock, cleared embossed, inked then cut out. I
have layered them with pop up dots between the layers. I tied a bow and
wrapped a piece of embroidery thread around the center of the bow before
attaching it to the top of the leaves.
For the inside I stamped my sentiment "a season for love, A Season of Thanks, A Season For Love" then added a little border at the top of the card.
Thanks for stopping by.

Au Revoir
Hi everyone, I am the Designer today at the Card A Day Blog and our weekly theme is Travel. For my card I used my Cricut to cut the main elements of my card (the Cricut cut sizes are posted below).
I embossed my green circle then used the distress ink to make it stand out. I cut the black and white pattern paper with the cricut, then trimmed it down so that I had 2" of it for my card front and attached the punch border to the back side. I used a piece of scrap ribbon - which was really narrow - so I doubled it up to make it look wider on the front of the card and tied it to the side. This piece was then layered onto the white cardstock then the card base.
Cricut Cuts:
Card Base: Scallop Card (button 11): Cut 1 at 5 1/4"
Large Circle (button 1): Cut 2 at 4 1/2" (white and green cardstock)
Small Circle (button 1): Cut 3 at 4 1/4" ( white, green and black and white pattern paper)
Recipe:
Cardstock: Recollections - white, black and cream; Unknown - green and black and white pattern
Stamps: Unity Kit of the Month - December 2012 {everyday fairytale}; Stampin' Up - Tiny Tags
Ink: Stazon - Jet Black; Distress Ink - Vintage Photo; Versa Magic - Midnight Black
Embossing Folder: Cuttlebug - Textile
Punches: Stampin' Up - Jewelry Tag, Scallop Trim and Boho Blossoms
Cricut Cartridge: Close to my Heart Art Philosophy
Brads: Stampin' Up - Filigree
Misc.: Adhesive, Cuttlebug, Glossy Accents, Hole Punch, Pop up dots, Scissors, White Ribbon

To make the tag I cut the cream cardstock 2 1/8" x 4" and trimmed the top corners. I stamped the Eiffel Tower onto a separate piece of cream cardstock, cut it out, inked the edges with distress ink and used pop up dots to place it on the tag. Au Revoir is stamped directly onto the tag after I had the Eiffel Tower on it. I then tore the bottom of the tag off to make it fit the card and inked all the tag edges. I stamped "4 You" on cream cardstock, punched it out and placed it under the ribbon knot.
I used the Boho Blossom punch and punched the large and medium flowers out of black cardstock. I used a regular paper punch and the green cardstock for the flower centers. I used glossy accents to hold the flower pieces together and the brad on the card front.
Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow Shirley Ross is the Designer to inspire you at the Card A Day Blog.

Happy Easter
Hi everyone, thanks for joining me from the Card A Day Blog. Today I have an egg shaped Easter Card to share with you.
I used the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge to cut my egg card base, the inside liner and the outside pattern paper. I inked all of the edges with the burgundy ink. I layered a few flowers on top, made a bow, then added the pearls. I stamped the sentiment, cut it into a banner shape and added a few pearls. There are a few pop up dots behind it to give it more dimension.
For the inside I stamped the Easter egg with the flowers on the edge of the mat.
The stamps are from Studio G and only say Series 47 on the back of them. I think I probably got them out of the dollar bin as they are pretty small.
Thanks for stopping by.
Recipe:
Paper: Recollections - brown and white; Pink Paislee - Sweetness "Sweetest Day"
Stamp: Studio G - Series 47
Ink: Stazon - Jet Black; Stampin' Up - Melon Mambo; Inkadinkadoo - burgundy
Ribbon: Stampin' Up - 1/2" Very Vanilla Seam binding
Cricut Cartridge: Close To My Heart Art Philosophy
Misc.: pearls, flowers, rhinestones, adhesive and pop up dots

Christmas Tags
I have a couple of tags I made that will going on my Guys' packages.
For the Tree Tag I hand cut the tag shape to 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" out of Kraft card stock. I stamped the large snowflake from Snow Swirled and smallest snowflake from Delightful Decoration onto the background of the tag, then used a marker for the faux stitching. I stamped the tree onto white card stock in Soft Suede ink then hand cut the tree out. Out of Kraft card stock I cut another tree and used a marker for the faux stitching lines. From red card stock I punched the round tab then stamped the large snowflake again. I punched the small snowflake from red using the 3/4" circle punch. I added the snowflake eyelet to the top of the tag with the red yarn. I stamped Merry Christmas then punched it out. A little bit of green zig zag ribbon and a few pearls to finish off the tag. There are actually a few pearls in the tree - they are hard to see in the picture.
Thanks for stopping by.

For the Dasher tag I cut two shapes out of Kraft and one red card stock. I stamped Dasher in the center of one of the Kraft shapes and used the same snowflake stamps for the background on the other Kraft and red shape. I stamped my sentiment and punched it out then layered it onto a punched piece of white card stock. This is glued to the star shape and a gold brad holds it to the shapes. The holly leaves and berry were cut and inked then layered onto the tags.

Tim's Tag Day 2
Have you checked out Tim's Tag 2. I was surprised at how quickly this came together. I stamped my tag with Stampin' Up's Music Notes then painted it with Antique White acrylic paint and wiped it off before it dried. I used my heat gun to help the drying process. I sponged on a bit of Broken China then sprayed glimmer mist on it. I cut the antlers off of the deer, ran it through my Xyron, placed a square of muslin on it and hand cut it out. After sponging on some Brushed Corduroy ink I think it looks almost like Tim's. For the border I used a scrap of tan cardstock, punched with the scallop border punch, inked with Vintage Photo and added pearls.
I am entering this into the Inspiration Journal Challenge.
Thanks for stopping my.

Tim's Tag - Day 1
Since I'm feeling better I started looking at Tim Holtz 12 Tags of Christmas and I just can't resist. I thought I could just look at them and say next year but that just isn't happening. So here's my take on Tim's Day 1.
Recipe:
Acrylic Paint - Desert Turquoise
I used my Cricut and several cartridges to make this tag and will have a list at the bottom of the post. I cut the tag out of kraft cardstock and used Desert Turquoise Acrylic Paint to paint my tag, and embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflake Folder. I forgot to distress the tag by sanding - 1 step skipped. I used the Snowflakes embossing folder, the Xyron on the "Noel"
Entered in the Insiration Journal.
