Fabulous Florets

I have another dimensional card for you today, but I want to make sure that you know that the drawing for the Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop is on the 23rd.  You have until midnight  March 22 to comment on that post.   Now here's how I made my card.   I started by cutting the oval in my card front embossing it.  The oval was embossed with a different embossing folder.

For each flower I stamped two large and one small flower and hand cut them out.  For my card that is a total of six large flowers and three small ones.  I then glued my first layer of  flowers flat to the card front.  The next layer of large flowers has pop up dots behind them and are turned just a bit.

I then ran the ribbon between the flowers and around the frame, tied my bow and positioned the ends how I wanted them to look.  There is just a tiny bit of adhesive behind the tail of the ribbon to hold it in place.  I then added my small flowers to the center of each of the large flowers. As you can see there is quite a few pop up dots behind the flowers.

I used pop up dots behind my card front - lots of them. Then I placed the embossed oval flat to the card base.

Thanks for stopping by.

Click here for the cut file. The cut file is just the 4x 5.25 card front with the oval center cut out.

Lovely card...but I don't appreciate having to sign up and use a user name and password...especially when this available free b/4. I have my oval shape mat so will use them. Thank you for sharing.
