New Home

Hi everyone, today I'm the designer for the A Card A Day Blog and the them is new home.

I started out by cutting the white cardstock down to fit my stamp, then stamped and embossed with black embossing powder.  I then stamped my kraft sheet with the different colors of Distress Ink and sprayed it with water.  I smooshed the cardstock onto the watered down distress ink and used the heat gun to dry it. To finish off my card I ran a ribbon behind my stamped image and hid the ends behind the blue cardstock.  The bow is separate and attached with a glue dot.

For the inside of my card I stamped and embossed the trees onto a scrap piece of green cardstock then cut the trees out.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow to see what Laury has in store for you.
