Wild Horses

Hi everyone, today I'm the designer at the Card A Day Blog and this week's theme is Just for Men.  I don't know about you, but I have a lot of guys in my life so these cards are easy for me.

I started by embossing a piece of blue and brown card stock with the Tim Holtz embossing folder and cutting the embossed paper in half.  I punched a piece of the Kraft card stock with the scallop trim punch and covered the seams.

I layered on top a the brown seam binding and wrapped some jute around the card a couple of times and tied it off to the side.  I them glued this to my card base.   I stamped the horse using Soft Suede ink, then tore around the image.  I stamped the feathers in different colors then cut them out.  The feathers are layered to the side of the card with button on top.

For the inside of the card I stamped the running horses along the bottom of the tan mat.

Tomorrow Tina Campbell is the Designer at the Card A Day blog so check in and see what she has to inspire you.

Thanks for stopping by.
