Hi everyone, today I'm the designer at the Card A Day Blog and it's all about using your die cuts.
This challenge is always hard for me as I don't have that many dies because I use my Cricut for that. I pulled them out and layed them on my desk and picked two to used for this challenge.
I started by looking at my stamps and seeing what would fit relatively well in the second to the larges Label Three die. I used the largest die to border the stamped image. I stamped the image three times - once for the main image, yellow cardstock then green cardstock. I fussy cut the leaves and flower out then used adhesive on the leaves and pop up dots behind the flowers.
Next came the border die. I cut it out with my Cuttlebug, then ran it through again to emboss it. I was very careful removing it from the die as I wanted to save the pieces for the inside corners. I threaded some ribbon through the die cut and glued it to the back of the card layers.
I added a few brown rhinestones to the flower image and a few cream rhinestones to the border. I hope you enjoyed today's card. Tomorrow Tina Campbell is the designer at the Card A Day Blog so stop back and see what she had in store for you.
Thanks for stopping by.
