Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday and thanks for joining us on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from Virginia and will need to continue onto Lisa who is the last stop of the hop.
This month we were challenged to use one of the three prompts for the blog hop:

Challenge #1 Tone on Tone: Create a tone on tone background.
Challenge #2 Sketch Challenge: Use Retro Sketch #110 to inspire a Project.
Challenge #3 Line it Up: Arrange your embellishments in a neat row.

I chose to complete Challenge #3 Line It Up: Arrange your embellishments in a row.

I pulled the green and white paper from the DCWV Ultimate Premium Stack and the Off White with tan lines from the Sunburn kit because of the patterns.

I've added the punched paper, the strips of pattern paper, the border sticker, matted photo and  then the title so that everything is lined up from large to smallest.

For the second page I rotated everything so that the top starts with the smallest and goes to the largest at the bottom of the page.

Don't forget to hop on over to Lisa and see what she has created. If you need to start at the beginning the blog order is below.

Here's the order for the Blog Hop:

those "piled" up/lined up elements make such an impact on these layouts. love them both and I agree with Lesley that the rotation gives the page a completely different feel!

Love it, and great idea to rotate!

Great pages, you let the pretty patterns and the punched paper shapes carry the design without competing with your pictures. Nice!

Clever "twist" on the second layout. They will look great, side by side in an album.

Gorgeous pages - and a clever example of how a rotation gives a sketch a whole new dimension.

It's amazing the difference in appearance when it is rotated - I must try this sometime. Thanks for the inspiration :)
