Black and Turquoise Layouts

Here's another set of layouts I put together for my youngest while I was visiting him in North Dakota.

In the counterfeit Kit I had one sheet of the black and blue paper from Creative Imaginations and two sheets of the Turquoise tiny dot paper.  I needed a sketch to help me out so I used this one from Pagemaps March 2012 for a double page layout.

I liked how the doily went from one page to another and that I could use multiple photos on each page.

The first page has the leafy scroll in the left hand side. I had packed some doilies when I went to see my youngest so I used one cut in half. I had included the Vintage corners die. Since I had several hours I figured I could get a couple of them to cut nicely. I finally used wax paper wrapped all the way around my cardstock to get a clean cut. Now that I know it worked on this one I will be trying it with the other dies.

Page two has the leafy scroll in on the right hand side. I did use different journaling cards on the layout but included all the other elements.

I had enough of the black and blue paper I did another layout.

I pieced the black and blue paper together to get the coverage and cut another doily in half, then lined it up.

I had used up all the black and blue paper but I did have a piece of the turquoise polka dot paper left so I made one last page.

I made sue that the black photo mats when all the way across the layout.  I added the same elements to tie everything together. This set of layouts just sort of took on a life of it's own.

I made 19 Layouts while I was visiting my youngest in North Dakota, my goal was 20.
