I always make or buy a Christmas ornament for my guys each year for their Christmas trees. I pulled out my January Counterfeit Kit - Snowman Kisses for these layouts.
I wasn't planning on using the Merry Christmas paper that was in the Paper Studio pack, but it worked for my annual Christmas Tree Ornament page. I only have two of these 12x12 papers but I had the sticker sheet that had the same Santa Clause on the sticker sheet. I figured I could make the 8 1/2 x 11 using that, green cardstock and the red and white strip paper for my youngest son's layout.
I love the way this turned out. I trimmed the red and white stripe paper then made my border on the green cardstock added the stickers and it is similar to the 12x12 paper.
Now for my oldest son's layout. I again used scraps of Christmas paper that was included in my Counterfeit Kit to make the banners. They are scraps so they do not go all the way behind the photo's.
For the second layout, the 12x12 sheet I'm using for my grandson. He was born the 22nd of December and I wasn't planning on buying an ornament for him for 2019, but he came to us early. I found this adorable mailbox for him.
I normally make a similar page for my scrapbook of their ornaments. I have not at this time so there will be one more to come. I have some of the red and white stripe paper left on of course scraps and alpha stickers but no more Santa stickers. It will be similar but not necessarily the same as these pages.
Thanks for stopping by.

Ho Ho Ho and Merry and Bright
Using my January Counterfeit Kit - CKC Snowman Kisses I finished the set of pages for my oldest. I have 2 12x12 layouts.
Ho Ho Ho Layout:
I started with the Bella Blvd "Gifts Galore" paper cutting it down then layering a on top. this paper has the cutest Christmas icons on it. This is on top of a DCWV - The Holiday Stack green polka dot paper and red cardstock.
The Ho Ho Ho was actually a tag, so used foam tape behind it and used the red yarn to wrap it a round the bottom layers. I added a "love" sticker on the journaling mat and sprinkled sequins around the page. . The red and white strip is another sticker that I just cut to fit behind the papers
Merry and Bright:
I started with the Holly and Berries paper layering it onto the same green polka dot paper from DCWV - The Holiday Stack. The red Christmas Gifts paper is the back side of the Bella BLVD "Gifts Galore" paper. I brought in the red and white strip paper for my photo mats. The "Merry and Bright" project life card is one I had printed off and was in my stack of cards. I added a snowman from the sticker pack. then sprinkled the snowflakes and sequins around the page.

You
I'm using the Scrap Our Stash Challenge - What's My Challenge - "Bingo" for today's layout.
I started by trimming down the "Trees for Sale" paper then adding the background paper to it. I created a base from white card stock for my photos rest on as my paper is quite busy with all the trees and added the washi border to the top and bottom of it. The rest is just layering the pieces of pattern paper onto the white mat, even the green border behind white cardstock was from my Christmas paper scraps.
I pulled the red label, the photo corner and the hot chocolate circle from the sticker sheet I included in my kit. I fussy cut the smaller banners at the top of the layout.
I punch the red and white snowflake and pulled the gold snowflake sticker from my Christmas stash. It went perfectly with the gold sequins I included in my kit.
I used a punch for the banners at the bottom of the page layered with the snowflake and hot coco sticker.
For my layout I used the piece of the "Trees for Sale" paper to start my layout. I matted it onto white cardstock and layered the pieces from there. The gold snowflake is cut in half, the red one is tucked to the side and towards the bottom. I used a white one at the top with the banners, a red sticker and a sequin in the center. I sprinkled the gold sequins through the layout.

Mary had a little lamb
I'm using my January Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit for a non Christmas themed layout. The January prompt at Archi-scraps this month look's like this,
and the challenge is: to be inspired by a Fairy Tale.
We had a new addition to our family just before Christmas and I'm scrapping about that.
I had quite the challenge with the lambs. I just couldn't get my Silhouette to cut them out properly and finally just cut out white ones then fussy cut the lambs and layered them on top of the Silhouette cut.
I used a light blue cardstock on my layout, as I only had two pieces of the blue K and I Memories blue paper and I didn't like that much of the plaid showing by using the scraps.
Thanks for stopping by.

Breakfast . . .
I'm using my Counterfeit Kit - CKC - Silly Adventures for my layout. I cut down my photo and matted it on the white cardstock. Then used it to cut the height my flower paper. Mine and my youngest's layouts are not quite the full 8" of the yellow sun paper.
I sprinkled around the photo a couple of the flower clusters for my layout and added one of the tags to the bottom of the yellow paper.
I used the circle elements that were part of the die cuts for his layout. The smaller washi tape was the perfect size for a border between the papers.
My oldest son was at Camp Ripley so he was unable to be here for Mother's Day. It was a perfect day, sunshine, no wind or clouds and warm. We had just had snow the week before so this was a nice change.
Paper: Echo Park - Good Day "Sunshine"; Martha Stewart - Create Paper "Classic Woodland"; Unknown Cardstock - Black, light blue, and White; Simple Stories - Hello Hummer 6x8 paper pad - yellow sunshine paper.
A;phabet stickers: Studio Calico - Color Theory
Washi: Carpe diem - High style
Die cuts: Simple Stories - Hello Summer

First Walk - Layout
For my layout I pulled 2 of the unknown papers and the DCWV blue cardstock from my Counterfeit Kit - CKC Silly Adventures. I had also included several punches in my kit and I'm going to use the Martha Stewart Double Arches border punch.
I started out by cutting down and matting my photos onto white cardstock. I cut down the floral paper and the striped paper then inked the edges on everything. Using the Double Arches punch I punched out the red cardstock.
I die cut out of white cardstock the floral piece and I pulled the butterflies from my March CKC- Marvelous Laughter to place onto of the die cut.
For the guy's layouts I has a couple of the light blue butterflies I punched that month also I just doubled them up and add a piece of white string beads to the center. I just couldn't find any light blue mini bead, which is probably why there were not doubled up like the peach colored one was.
I added a little bit of journaling to the bottom of the photos along with another forgery this time from February. I had a couple of hearts left over.

I used the Glorious Garden Counterfeit Kit for these layouts. I had two sheets each of circle and woodgrain paper so I used a sheet of each to make a double page layout in 12x12 and 8 1/2x 11 for the guys. All of the papers have been inked in the gathered twigs distress ink.
I made a couple of embellishment clusters for this layout. I cut the sentiment from the Home Basics paper pad, used a photo frame die cut leftover from another project and added a punched border and label.
I made a sheet of different words using different fonts. This embellishment cluster used "good stuff" along with more of the punched borders, a couple of pennants and twine.
Instead of 4 4x4 photo spots I have a 4x6 and a 2x4 for each row.
. I kept the pages fairly simple using the paper as borders, pennants and punching borders.

I added the "Such a Lovely Day" to the bottom of white cardstock , a white photo mat to another and a heart border to a third and another banner to a fourth. The rest are papers scraps from the

Scrap Pile Layouts
This was the last of my pages I made while in North Dakota visiting my youngest.
The guys called me and told me they had just finished and were on the way back and did I need them to pick up anything. I told them no, but looked at my mess from making layouts and knew I would never get it picked up before they got back. I wish I had taken a picture of the mess and the look on my youngest when walked in the door.

Grey and Black Layouts
The Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog's inspiration had some polka dot paper in it, but it was large dots. I substituted some smaller dot paper in my Summer Festival Kit.
This is the first layout I made. I punched the border with the spiral punch then layered on some embellishments. The fake stitching at the top is a rub on.
I used more of the fake stitching at the top of the layout. The bird and leaf dies were really getting a work out while I was there.
I made a pocket and a couple of tags to go into them. The tickets are from a die that I did not bring with me but I added a few of them in my stash while packing.
The last layout I kind of included a little bit of everything from the previous three. I have the black and cream ribbon, the grey craft foam in the shape of hearts, all three pattern papers and the labels.
I made 19 Layouts while I was visiting my youngest in North Dakota, my goal was 20.

Black and Turquoise Layouts
Here's another set of layouts I put together for my youngest while I was visiting him in North Dakota.
In the counterfeit Kit I had one sheet of the black and blue paper from Creative Imaginations and two sheets of the Turquoise tiny dot paper. I needed a sketch to help me out so I used this one from Pagemaps March 2012 for a double page layout.
I liked how the doily went from one page to another and that I could use multiple photos on each page.
The first page has the leafy scroll in the left hand side. I had packed some doilies when I went to see my youngest so I used one cut in half. I had included the Vintage corners die. Since I had several hours I figured I could get a couple of them to cut nicely. I finally used wax paper wrapped all the way around my cardstock to get a clean cut. Now that I know it worked on this one I will be trying it with the other dies.
Page two has the leafy scroll in on the right hand side. I did use different journaling cards on the layout but included all the other elements.
I had enough of the black and blue paper I did another layout.
I pieced the black and blue paper together to get the coverage and cut another doily in half, then lined it up.
I had used up all the black and blue paper but I did have a piece of the turquoise polka dot paper left so I made one last page.
I made sue that the black photo mats when all the way across the layout. I added the same elements to tie everything together. This set of layouts just sort of took on a life of it's own.
I made 19 Layouts while I was visiting my youngest in North Dakota, my goal was 20.

I made 19 Layouts while I was visiting my youngest in North Dakota, my goal was 20.

Fall Memories and Oh Snap
In my September Counterfeit Kit I had a sheet of the DCWV - Luxury Stack Silver paper. I love this stack and I'm probably using my very last sheet of 12x12 paper on these layouts for my youngest.
The Counterfeit Kit had gold in their inspiration kit but my youngest requested some more blank layouts and I added it to his page pile.
I had the downloaded some Fall Journaling cards for some generic scrapping embellishments. At the time I did not realize that they went perfectly with the paper.
For page two I used the O' snap and camera icon. I outlined the pages with a black sharpie.
I had just enough left to do a third page if I used a larger photo mat. I think I will go back and add some DIY enamel dots on the pages to finish them off.
This is the third set of the 11 layouts I did while I was doing laundry. You can see :

Just because and The good Stuff
I'm playing catch up on my blog. I had a few issues with Blogger and Google + and wasn't able to post for a few days until it got straightened out.
I pulled a couple of the papers from my September Counterfeit Kit - Summer Festival to make a couple more pages for my youngest.
I started with this layout.
Then I did the other side to create a two page layout. I made the photo mat just a little bit smaller, I love the teal and brown rose paper on this layout.
And because I had paper left over I did this one and added the Just Because label, along with a label and DIY enamel dots.
I used bigger photo mats on the other side and added "the good stuff" going up the side.
I hadn't intended to do a 4 pager with these papers but I was on a roll. The plaid and rose paper is all used up and I have a little bit of the stripe paper left over.
This is the second set of the 11 layouts I did while I was doing laundry. You can see :

2 Day and sunshine and Happiness
While I was doing laundry last night I got 11 more layouts done for my youngest. My desk is definitely a mess but it was worth it. So here is the first set of layouts that I made using my Counterfeit Kit Challenge - Summer Festivals.
I started this layout with the pattern paper and knew I wanted to have a couple of 4x6 photo mats for him. Then I found this 4x6 and 3x4 journaling cards I had printed out from some now unknown source. The 4x6 journal card was perfect as a photo mat on the left hand side.
I used the 3x4 on the right side that could be used as with a photo mat or journaling card. I did add a couple of labels just in case they are needed.
Thanks for stopping by.

Red and Gold layouts
After 7 hours of mending, two trips to Tandy Leather and one trip to Home Depot, Michaels and Joann's I'm done with the Army Stuff and can work on a couple of layouts. Honestly my brain if fried so they are really simple. I started with the Goldish paper that has a border on it from my Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog Summer Festival Kit.
Since my gold paper was 12x12 I measured and marked where I wanted to cut it down width wise and then length wise giving myself some room to layer it. I wanted the full border to show and I covered it up with a couple of photo mats on the side as it wasn't a perfect match.
The second page has the rest of the gold border paper. I split the leaf die cut and added an extra large piece at the top of the layout.
I thought I had this scheduled to post over the weekend but I messed up. I guess I had to much sewing going on.
Thanks for stopping by.
