This Life

I started with the polka dot paper, cut it down then used the white gel pen to draw the lines around the sides that were cut off. I matted the photo mat onto a piece of light green cardstock and then pulled the embellishments from my kit.

I have no idea where the grey and white branch paper came from but it's a border that works well with this layout.

As I was checking out what the other Counterfeit Kitters were doing, Tina C. posted a new challenge blog for Project Life - Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style. Since I have a thrown in some Project Life cards I decided to try make a 8 1/2 x 11 Project Life style page also.

So the challenge for week 1 is to use their sketch.
Since my layout is for my youngest and his album is 8 1/2  x 11my project life page is 8 1/2x11.
The title card is 4 x6 with some torn paper and grey cardstock with wrapped crewel yarn. I cut "the adventure" off of another card, added the die cut arrow, a few DIY enamel dots and I'm done.

For the rest of the page I cut up a couple of cards, used a few printables and the page is ready for my youngest. to add his photos.

Now onto a layout for my oldest since I have some left over papers to create with.

I used a different bird on his layout and more of the printables.  I guess I forgot to outline the white paper so I'll have to do that.

I used a couple of different journaling cards and cut up a few more to make his project life page, then added a few more printables to finish it off..  His project life page is three 4x6 and two 6x6 pockets.
Thanks for stopping by.
